

It truly was the pinnacle of the Anniversary Year to date, and it was wonderful to see so many Mertonians and their friends and families over the course of the weekend. Indeed, as this special 750th Anniversary edition of Postmaster goes to print, happy memories of the Birthday Weekend with its rich intellectual content, its Saturday evening celebrations and its Family Garden Party are fresh in all our minds (you can see photos from the Birthday celebrations on page 4). Moreover, we are most grateful to have a ‘birth date’ of the College - 14 September 1264 - for us to celebrate.
